The most powerful tool on the dashboard is the reminder feature. It is often overlooked and underutilized. Dashboard reminders are visual aids on the NetSuite user dashboard and can be standard from Oracle NetSuite SuiteSuccess editions or custom-created by users and partners like NEO3. Users can create saved searches in NetSuite for specific data sets and publish them as reminders. These reminders are drillable and actionable, serving as a list of tasks that must be completed. They are updated on the dashboard in real-time and driven by built-in automation.

If You Have 50 Reminders, You Don't Have Any.
Regarding the number of reminders, it's important to remember the saying "too much of a good thing." This applies to dashboard reminders as well. It's recommended to have five to seven important reminders to effectively monitor essential tasks and complete them promptly. More than seven or eight reminders will create unnecessary noise on the dashboard.
