Did You Know You Can Post Sticky Notes on Any NetSuite Record?
That's right! NetSuite offers all customers the option to install the free StickyNotes bundle. These electronic sticky notes function just like physical notes—you can post them on any transaction record (Sales Orders, Quotes, Invoices, etc.) or any master record (Customers, Vendors, Inventory Items, etc.).
Advantages of Electronic Sticky Notes
The biggest advantage of electronic sticky notes is their flexibility. You can make them public or private and direct them to specific users, making them visible only to those users. When directed toward specific users, the system will automatically send an email alerting them that they have a sticky note to view.

Priorities, To Dos, and the StickyNotes Board
Sticky notes can be color-coded to indicate priority, and you can attach images to provide more context to the recipient. You can move the notes around on the record for optimal viewing.
If a sticky note is a to-do task, the recipient can easily mark it as done and reply to the author with any relevant notes. Once a sticky note has been viewed or the content is no longer relevant, it can be archived so it is no longer visible.
Users can view all sticky notes intended for them in one place via the StickyNotes board. Filter and sort capabilities make it easy to organize the notes however you choose.
Caution
Please do not post sticky notes with passwords anywhere in NetSuite! Public notes can be viewed by all users with access to the specific record. Many of us are guilty of doing that very thing on our own monitors!
